Purpose
To improve mental and physical health and well-being throughout the membership and associated community. JBCMS plays an important role in the overall improvement of men’s general health and well-being. This is evident by engagement of men who, for various reasons, have difficulty talking about their health issues and those that are socially isolated. JBCMS has the purpose of bringing men together and to interact and engage with others for their personal well-being. The offshoot of men’s engagement will be an enhancement of benefit for families and the broader community.
Vision
To be a safe and welcoming Men’s Shed in which all men can come together within the spirit of mateship. To be able to interact with others and so feel at ease enough to voluntarily talk about issues affecting their lives, health and overall well-being.
